TC Street Style: John

Fuck Yeah Menswear

I'm going to promote something that can only be described by any random lyric from any random 2 Chainz song ever created. But for example purposes we will simply go with:

"TRU!"
-2 Chainz

It's called Fuck Yeah Menswear and its a book about menswear. If you guessed it was a book about kittens, you were half right. Kidding. It's all about menswear. I'm sorry.

Now onto another quote directly from this book's description to better explain exactly what it is about:

"In your hands is an Amazonian blowgun full of deadly knowledge darts ready to be delivered straight to your cranium.
You’re about to begin a journey that will end in only one way—with you standing naked in an abandoned ravine watching as your old wardrobe slowly burns. Let this be your illustrated Iliad for dressing better.
Don’t sleep. Read Fuck Yeah Menswear. Refer to it. Cite it in your dissertation. Owning this book sends a very clear message to your peers, coworkers, and loved ones: “I’m trill as fuck.”

If that using enough there is a promotional video that is sure to seal your decision to buy this book with a big wet kiss.

Raising The Bar

If you're like me then you don't dress with much color. I prefer the simplicity as well and the elegant complexity of blacks and white. Every so often however, I find myself looking for some contrast.
Thetiebar.com offers that contrast.
They offer almost any color you can ask for and it will give you that extra pop you're looking for.

50 Shades of none of those books

It may be because of the new James Bond movie releasing tonight and the style inspiration that follows thanks to Tom Ford or it may be because of the season change and the dreary days that follow. Whatever it may be, my style has taken a turn for the dark. It has always been leaning more toward blacks and greys, but as of lately that's all I want to wear or buy. Black, white, greys of every shade (except Christian Grey). It is timeless and as my wardrobe grows I want to be able to pull from it anything at anytime, not lose interest over time.
