I was stumbling my way through Tumblr, looking at the menswear tags, among other things that the followers of RUDESUIT and of course myself would be interested in. Clothing obviously, but there is far more to a man's wardrobe than his clothing. It's how a man prepares himself everyday. As for myself and my friends, we like to use Murray's Beeswax pomade. It's cheap, smells good, works well. The only problem with it is that it doesn't wash out quickly. It takes a few washes. It's not a huge deal, but it may be for some.

So in my internet travels I came across this lovely product. If you have viewed this video already then you were just as impressed with this man's knowledge of the iconic classics we all have tried to emulate at one point in time as I was. I know one thing is for certain. I would trust this man with every stand of my hair and I will absolutely be purchasing this product.

Unconventional, but significant.

Any suit can be great if you know how to do it.

Here is one way to do it.

Sometimes it is better to steer clear of pattern and use what you have if you are lacking funds or don't know what to look for.

Stick with the essentials.

A white button down will never go out of style. Extremely versatile, and classily fashionable.

See how this is all being done? Unbutton it. A tiny detail. Unconventional, but significant.

Mixed with a white on white pocket square with single line embroidery. Perfectly executed.

Any grey suit will do, but make sure it fits you well, and stick with a slimmer tie. Not a skinny tie. A slimmer tie. Try finding one with a similar, if not the same fabric and color as your suit. It will add a confusing bit of contrast.

Fall/Winter Preview

I'm all about details, so this just makes me very happy.

Slim fit corduroy pants, no break, with a cuff. Great!

Neutral color palate houndstooth overcoat. Double great!

Pulled together at the bottom with brown suede chukkas.

A perfect fall to winter transition look. We're not there just yet, but start taking notes.

Fall Options

As the leaves start to change and the weather gets cool, so does your fall wardrobe.

In come the heavier materials, darker colors, scarves, overcoats, boots etc.

If you're like me, then you are very much looking forward to this.

This suit is a great look for the cooler days to come. The grey wool and white combo will always be a classic, but as I have stated before, the boot addition is an excellent alternative to the normal oxford look. The contrast cream button give a subtle detail to the suit that is a must during Fall times when others will be rocking the grey suits as well.

Topped off with a darker shade of grey (please no 50 Shades of Grey jokes) scarf pulls the whole look together.

Tie it as you see or drape it underneath your suit jacket for a Michael Fassbender out of Shame look.

You get a text, right?

This is just really great.

An excellent transition from Summer to Fall look.

Just slightly less dressy than a button down, but give a subtle sense of ease to a suit. Can easily be worn tucked or untucked.

The simplicity of this whole outfit makes it stand out because the details are in the right places. The houndstooth suit jacket isn't in your face, but makes you look twice. The handkerchief is nothing special, but put with that suit jacket gives a nice contrast.

And of course the plain white polo. 

It is a sure fire must in a mans wardrobe because of its versatility. 

You're at the office, right?

You're rocking this outfit. You get a text that there is a boat party tonight and you don't have time to go home and change. That's no problem. Lose the suit jacket, roll your pants up a few and whip your socks off (if you're wearing any). Boat attire.

Versatility and "any time" wearability are key thing to think about these days and this look is both.

Trainer + Suit

So lately I've been talking a lot about dressing suits down.

I'm going to continue this because I feel as though there is a lot to be said about making a suit your own with aspects from the casual side of your closet.

If t shirts, no pleats, no ties, or jersey fabric blazers aren't enough, why not wear a sneaker with your suit.

What I'm not talking about is that all white sneaker that your mom wears during the graveyard shift at the hospital. White is cool, but you don't need corrective or butt firming sneaks when you're trying to look sharp.

What I am talking about is a fresh black sneaker (or at least dark), preferably low top, maybe with a contrasted white or other colored sole. Classic New Balance trainers are making a comeback as well. This will add a bout of leisure to a suit that is going to be worn more as a hobby than a job. Finding a classic trainer for cheap isn't an issue either. If you're on a budget you can find them for under $30 on sites like ASOS or ZARA.

All this is at your transgression of course. If you want to throw some Air Yeezys on, then by all means. He did it. But he's Kanye West. I'm sorry, but you are not.

Bottom line philosophy is: If you are aware of your style and how you want to look then you don't have to put much effort in to look good. Thus your outfit looks effortless.
