Color(care)ful

As I was flipping through the channels earlier today I came across a commercial that stated: "Add color. It will zest up your wardrobe and add some excitement to your life."
Now, to a certain extent I agree. A little color is nice. As for most of it, I say shut the hell up and get off the bandwagon.
These day you can find a grown man wearing brightly colored skinny jeans on any given sidewalk. I understand personal style and the right to modify and make things your own, of course. That's what this blog is about. But, what this blog is also about is influencing the right kinda of wardrobes and showing them to you while worn by "any given sidewalk" men.
You don't need neon colors to stand out. That's standing out in the wrong way.
Like that time you accidentally wore your sisters blouse to school.
Simplicity is what stands out the most in my opinion. Don't go for trends.
If you have a certain look you really enjoy, be it simply a white tee and jeans or a full suit, refine it. Make it your own. Look through this blog and blogs elsewhere to give you suggestions and ideas.
Don't wear what looked cool for the EDM kids 3 years ago.
You're a grown up now.
