Then there's this.

I don't care who you are.
I don't care what your style is.
I do know one thing for certain and that is that this man has some amazing style.
I would just like to touch on the subject of being overly cautious again if I may. We have preconceived notions on how we are to look or things that are deemed "acceptable". If I may also be blunt for a moment, fuck all that!
Look at this man. This combination is like nothing I have thought of. This is just one photographer that made me go "WOW!" And I hope you did as well.
So very impressed.

Fuck Yeah Menswear

I'm going to promote something that can only be described by any random lyric from any random 2 Chainz song ever created. But for example purposes we will simply go with:

"TRU!"
-2 Chainz

It's called Fuck Yeah Menswear and its a book about menswear. If you guessed it was a book about kittens, you were half right. Kidding. It's all about menswear. I'm sorry.

Now onto another quote directly from this book's description to better explain exactly what it is about:

"In your hands is an Amazonian blowgun full of deadly knowledge darts ready to be delivered straight to your cranium.
You’re about to begin a journey that will end in only one way—with you standing naked in an abandoned ravine watching as your old wardrobe slowly burns. Let this be your illustrated Iliad for dressing better.
Don’t sleep. Read Fuck Yeah Menswear. Refer to it. Cite it in your dissertation. Owning this book sends a very clear message to your peers, coworkers, and loved ones: “I’m trill as fuck.”

If that using enough there is a promotional video that is sure to seal your decision to buy this book with a big wet kiss.

Good Look #1

Rather than giving ideas or advice on exactly what to wear and how to wear it like I usually do I will be adding a segment to RUDESUIT that is reminiscent of my earlier blog style of deconstructing a look that I find to be interesting. We will call this "Good Look". If you follow on RUDESUIT on Facebook then you will know that for a small about of time RUDESUIT went astray. I had changed the name to MR. GOOD LOOK and after countless comments about how readers missed the old name, it changed back. However, personally still enjoying the name, I wanted to somehow incorporate it.
So, by tapping into an archive of thousand of street style photographs, runway stills and possibly in the future; personal street style photos, "Good Look" will now be an inspirational piece for men who enjoy deconstructing a look themselves.
Enjoy.

Deep In The Trenches

The trench coat; "was developed as an alternative to the heavy serge greatcoats worn by British and French soldiers in the First World War. Invention of the trench coat is claimed by both Burberry and Aquascutum, with Aquascutum's claim dating back to the 1850s. Thomas Burberry, the inventor of gabardine fabric, submitted a design for an army officer's raincoat to the United Kingdom War Office in 1901."

Nowadays it is becoming an essential in a man's wardrobe.
Be it Navy, Beige, or black, it can be worn casual or dressy and can be a deconstructed simple trench or a classic styling.

On a rainy or slightly chilly day it is perfect to throw on as a completion piece to an east sweater and jeans look.

Style:

"It is to be noted that style has nothing to do with price points; nor does it have anything to do with notable designers. It alone has everything to do with one’s perception of himself."

Thank you, Michael!

Earlier I talked about how excited I was about the Spring/Summer 2013 line of Michael Bastian and the runway show that was going to be streamed live via GQ.com.
It was truly fantastic. The man knows how to make a suit casual for the summer for coolness and comfort, but give you an unparalleled looking fashion sense.
I am not one to ever buy a full look. Bits and pieces here and there that would eventually make up my personal style, but when it comes to Michael Bastian I am swoon and would buy everything a wear it just how it was styled.

Here a some shots from the show that I really enjoyed, along with the full runway video.

Keep in mind.

I've found lately that the best styles are coming from thrown together looks from online fashion stores. It gives you simple ideas and that's all a man needs to look good everyday.
Most guys don't like to overdo it. They like to take 10 minutes to get ready in the morning, shake some product through their hair and walk out the door.
These styles help. A nice dress pant, a fresh out of the dryer tee, maybe with a little imperfection in it for character worn with a dress shoe or a trainer. It depends on the style pant, but there are options other than jeans and khakis. Keep that in mind.
